Holiday Party Tips

The holiday is closing in on us and we have to decide whether or not we are hosting the Christmas Eve party at our house or not. Since the "recession" we have to find ways to cut the cost. Below are some suggestions to help fray such costs:
  • Reduce your guests list
  • Offer cocktails and simple hors d' oeuvres rather than a full meal.
  • Chicken and pasta are less expensive alternatives, as it in-season food
  • Control alcohol consumption by serving it all at once at pre-established times
